Wired Glass is made from Fused Glass and Lampwork Glass using found objects, recycled materials, metal and wire. It is folk art, funky, funny, abstract, outsider, primitive and one hundred percent original and hand-made. I make narrative figures that are humorous and introspective commenting on life, love, the pursuit of happiness and the many things we do to occupy our time in this crazy world.  I also have a glass menagerie of animal figures including dogs, cats, horses, buffalo, giraffe, roosters, pigs birds, mythological creatures, fish, whales, ee-i-ee-i-oo. I make skeletons and voodoo queens and monkeys and aliens. I make "suncatcher" coffee cups, hearts and angels. My work makes great original gifts with multi- layered meanings. I mix glass with rusty metal, found objects, garage sale junk, thrift store treasures and unexpected finds. I do architectual and functional commissions and custom requests and love a challenge to help you create your own original idea in glass.
